Hoptimist is expanding its exclusive wooden collection with a junior size in oak and smoked oak. The wood comes from controlled European forests, and each figure has its own unique look. The designer behind the original Hoptimists, Gustav Ehrenreich, would have made his Hoptimists from wood if he had had the production facilities to do so. However, this was not possible until 2011, when the oak and smoked oak Hoptimists first saw the light of day. Medium-sized Juniors are now hopping into the ranks of top-notch Danish design. As no two pieces of wood are exactly alike, each figure has its own individual, lively facial expression. All wooden figures are machined, and more than 70% of the finished product is made by hand.
