Classic Hoptimists from the Swinging Sixties
The 1960s might well have been known as 'The Swinging Sixties', but the decade was actually marked by unrest. However, Gustav Ehrenreich's happy design put people in a good mood, and the Hoptimists have become optimistic classics.
The bright, cheery colours and the round, harmonious expression make the classic Hoptimists an eternal reminder to be positive and optimistic. Bimble and Bumble are the very first Hoptimists to come from the designer's hand: A girl with smiling eyes wearing a dress and an attentive boy with a "tuft" on his head.
A Hoptimist stands for smiles, optimism and good mood. Give a Hoptimist as a gift and experience the joy of giving. Gustav Ehrenreich created the first figures in the late 1960s, which now have a place in Danish design history. Today, the joyful movement consists of a plethora of cheerful, colourful Hoptimists for every occasion.
